Rules pertaining to burials and burial of cremated remains

The following people have a right to be buried (including the burial of cremated remains) in a churchyard of the Benefice:

• Residents of the Benefice.

• Those whose names are on the church electoral roll for any church within the Benefice.

• Those dying in the Benefice.

• Those who lived in the Benefice prior to moving into residential care outside the parish.

The incumbent can also allow anyone else to be buried in a churchyard subject to approval of the relevant Parochial Church Council.
